Elizabeth Banks To Play Tinkerbell

It seems Tinkerbell has been campaigning for her own starring vehicle for some time now. Not content with taking a back seat to Peter Pan and Captain Hook the little pixie/fairy hybrid is ready to take centre stage in a new romantic comedy simply titled Tink.

Taking the role will be Elizabeth Banks, which I have to admit, is pretty solid casting. The actress isn’t only starring but is also responsible for getting the project off the ground with the help of her production company Brownstone Productions that she owns with her husband.

There is one major problem. Also on producing duties is a man called McG! Whenever this name is mentioned in terms of cinema massive alarm bells begin to ring. Lets face it. His name isn’t exactly synonymous with quality is it?
