Aishwarya Rai is a big fan of Rajinikanth’s onscreen antics, abnormally of the way he flicks a cigarette in the air. So back she assuredly saw him do that, she couldn’t accept enough.
During the shoot of Endhiran, the extra got a adventitious to see Rajini’s signature stunt. In one of the scenes with Ash back Rajni had to bung the cigarette, she advisedly kept fluffing so that there could be re-takes. That’s how she managed to see the achievement repeatedly.
From what we hear, no one was acquainted of Ash’s antic while the shoot was on. But afterwards she appear to Rajinikanth that she was arena a antic so that she could see what she loves - a cigarette addled by the one and alone Rajinikanth.
