Ooh la la! Fergie shows off an impressive pair of legs as she steps out in Paris in a very short leather skirt

Wearing leather in very hot weather is certainly not the cleverest idea.

But Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie was clearly wasn't taking any fashion advice as she stepped out in a sweltering Paris in a leather skirt.

However, in a skirt that short, we suspect she would have been more than enough of a breeze round her toned and tanned legs to keep her cool.

The 36-year-old was snapped showing off her impressive pair of pins in the French capital in the short skirt and a white T-shirt which paid homage to the American punk rock band Black Flag.

She accessorised with dark sunglasses, a big slouchy black bag and studded Christian Louboutin stilettos.

She waved to fans as she and band mate Taboo, real name Jaime Luis Gómez left the Hotel Fouquet.

The band have been in Paris since Wednesday to kick start their The Beginning Massive Stadium Tour and play their third and final date there at the Stade Du France tonight.

They then move on to Germany on Tuesday before heading to London to headline this year's Wireless Festival on Friday July 1.

On Thursday night, she attended gala to benefit the American Foundation for AIDS Research, a charity founded by the late Elizabeth Taylor, where she was honoured for her contribution to the fight against AIDS.

But it seems she couldn’t make up her mind when it came to what she was wearing and she stepped out in not one but two different outfits at the event.

Fergie showed off two dramatically different looks last night in Paris taking on a hard edgier look before slipping into something a little more seductive and feminine. 

When it came to collecting her award, she had to be helped up on the stage by fashion designer Marc Jacobs as she struggled to lift her leg up in her Louis Vuitton dress.

Once at the podium, she told the crowd she was delighted to win the award but she 'never wanted to be a role model.'

But she added that she could use her fame to support and raise awareness about causes she cared about and said: 'I learned to take responsibility for helping other people and started to make up for all the crap I used to do.'
