Blackburn centre half Chris Samba has warned Lancashire rivals Burnley not to expect an easy ride now their Premier League status is all-but secured. Rovers' 2-1 win over Birmingham on Wednesday night took them to 38 points for the season, 14 ahead of the relegation zone. Despite their comfortable position, Samba has told the Clarets that Rovers will not take an early "holiday" when the teams meet at Turf Moor on Sunday. The 25-year-old told The Sun: "We will not start to coast now it looks like we are safe. Not at all. Don't expect us to go on holiday. "We have a lot of games that are winnable and a lot of games that are important to the other teams in the division. "We want to climb the table and finish as high as we can. So we will go into every game and compete fiercely. "There is no way Burnley will be more motivated than us. Because it is an important local derby it is a good place for us to play next. "It will be more difficult for them because they have to get a result, so maybe they will leave a bit of space that will make it possible for us to get something going. "The pressure is on them because they need wins to get out of trouble."Samba issues derby warning
