PARIS — Twenty-year-old South Korean supermodel Daul Kim was found hanged in her central Paris apartment after an apparent suicide, the South Korean embassy said on Friday

Not often does a top model become so connected with her audience. Usually top models stay beyond reach and keep an almost secret profile. Daul Kim passed that barrier. She managed to be close to her fans opening her life up to her admirers through her blog. Sadly, this weekend Daul Kim was found dead in her apartment. Her boyfriend found her, but there was nothing he could have done to save her. On her popular blog Daul Kim wrote about how difficult life is. She wrote that all the money she had earned did not provide her with true friendships. She wrote about the fact that she was lonely and sometimes even depressed. Her agents at Next agency confirmed her death and asked everyone to respect the family's privacy.
